Layers
Through Layers, Shah Rizzal conveys his belief in the necessity to preserve the architecture of a space that outlasts the need for progressive urban development. He highlights the contribution of brick makers through his depiction of the shophouses in Little India, both of which are valuable to the precinct’s rich history.

Shah Rizzal
Shah Rizzal believes that through the marriage of both formal education and the unorthodox street knowledge, he can disseminate a different kind of visual art aesthetics and propagate a contemporary understanding of the
current and future generation of Singapore artists.More by Artist
